    The Role:Captive Insurance Accountant/Consultant

    Location: Honolulu, HI

    Responsibilities

    • Managing captive insurance companies and financial modeling of insurance program
    • Provide technical finance and accounting support for captive insurance clients

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

     

     

    • 4 years college degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
    • 5+ years of financial work experience
    • CPA and/or CPCU designations
    • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Excellent understanding and ability to put together financial statements
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; perform non-repetitive analytical work; process-oriented
    • Able to multi-task and prioritize
    • Able to work independently and willing to assert initiative

     

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of Underwriting or Sales/Marketing experience
    • 2+ years of supervisory experience
    • Experience working with domestic and international taxation
    • Ability to read, write and speak Japanese at a business conversation level or higher

     

    Special Remarks:

    • Occasional travel out of country
