    The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) is recruiting for a Coordinator, Operational Reporting reporting to Manager, Data Analysis and Reporting.

    Responsibilities

    This position is intended to provide support to the Manager, Data Analysis and Reporting, who is, in turn, responsible for mining data and producing output to assist CASE in determining market and business trends.

     

    The core functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:

     

    Program/Project Management

     

    • Ability to learn and understand complex data in order to produce basic reports.
    • Responds to staff requests for data, either by running pre-developed reports or by working closely with the Manager, Data Analysis and Reporting to develop new reports.
    • Ability to interpret the report requests of non-technical staff correctly in order to produce needed output.
    • Triages requests for data and visualizations and use good judgement to prioritize.
    • Works closely with the data management committee and support their mission “To provide CASE staff and stakeholders easy access to timely and accurate data they need to advance the organization and better serve our members through data driven decision making.”
    • Collaborates with staff from all divisions to create and maintain documentation of current reports; recommends improvements, as needed.
    • Validates data to ensure accuracy and trustworthiness.
    • Supports training and respond to staff questions on report data and data tools.
    • Runs periodic integrity reports to help identify areas of non-conformance to standards.
    • Assists with data cleanup projects as assigned.

     Fiscal Management/Budget Responsibilities/Judicious Use of Resources

     

    • Exercises fiscal responsibility in the utilization of all CASE resources.

     

    Liaison Responsibilities

     

    • Liaises with CASE colleagues in other parts of the world to ensure the best sharing of ideas, expertise and knowledge.

     

    Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

    Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree preferred, and 1-2 years of database experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education. Some coursework in math, statistics, or computer science is desired.

     

    Skills and Abilities:

    Must exhibit superior customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of customers. Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and database programs is required. Personify and Power BI experience a plus. Ability to work independently and in a team to accomplish goals and meet deadlines. Basic knowledge of Boolean logic and a problem solving mindset. Must be detail-oriented and show a demonstrated interest in learning new skills.
